"Energy sector and transportation sector are the main points of interest. We are participating in many tenders. We are participating in Tbilisi underground construction modernization. We are participating in tenders for public transport etc. Skoda Cars are seen on the streets of Tbilisi and other cities. In terms of the energy sector, it's fascinating that the major oil extraction company in Georgia is Czech, operating with its daughter company KBOC here in Georgia,"- Czech Ambassador Petr Mykiska told The Checkpoints in an exclusive interview conducted by Tamta Jijavadze.
Ambassador Mykiska also emphasized the importance of the construction sector, where the Czech company KOPOS participates and contributes its materials. According to him, tourism is also a point of interest.
"And tourism. The project is in the pipeline. It's under development. There are more projects for small hotels or apartments and construction for tourists. This is one of those main sectors of cooperation," - he said.
