Georgian retail chain Daily opened its first supermarket outside Georgia on March 31, 2025, in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.

The company says that the brand's expansion into export markets is an important milestone in both the company's development and the globalization of Georgia's retail sector.

"Daily" is one of the first Georgian retail brands to start operating outside the country.

The company entered Uzbekistan after the Daily Group acquired a controlling stake in the Bi1 chain of stores from the French Schiever Group in December 2024. The newly opened supermarket is the 34th facility of this chain in Tashkent.

"The expansion of "Daily" into the Uzbek market is a significant precedent for the Georgian retail sector to enter international markets, which opens up additional opportunities for Georgian producers to expand into foreign markets," the Daily Group said.

Daily Group is a leading retail company in Georgia's FMCG sector. It operates around 1,700 stores across the country, serves 650,000 customers daily, and holds 31% of the organized food retail market.
