On 14 May, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Denmark, Lars Løkke Rasmussen, visited Georgia.
Before the official meetings planned within the framework of the visit, the Danish Foreign Minister was hosted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ilia Darchiashvili in an informal atmosphere.
At the meeting, the sides emphasized the importance of the visit and reviewed current issues of cooperation between Georgia and the Kingdom of Denmark.
The official meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark and the Head of the Foreign Ministry of Georgia will be held on 15 May, both in a face-to-face and extended formats.
As part of his visit to Georgia, Lars Løkke Rasmussen will hold a meeting with the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili.
A meeting will also be held with the Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili.
Within the framework of the visit, the Georgian and Danish Foreign Ministers will officially open the Danish Embassy in Georgia.
The Danish Foreign Minister will visit the occupation line to explore the situation on the ground.
