Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani held a farewell meeting with the Ambassador of Sweden to Georgia Martina Quick.
The sides highly appraised friendly relations and close partnership between Georgia and the Kingdom of Sweden in the areas of human rights, law enforcement, defence and education, as well as within the framework of international organizations.
David Zalkaliani thanked Martina Quick for the Swedish government’s firm support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as for its European and Euro-Atlantic integration path. The Minister also highlighted Sweden’s contribution to the implementation of the NATO-Georgia Substantial Package and to the functioning of the EU Monitoring Mission in Georgia.
David Zalkaliani thanked the Swedish diplomat for her significant role in deepening bilateral relations between the two countries and wished her success in her future endeavours.
