Members of the European Business Association met with EU Ambassador Carl Hartzell to discuss important business issues, including digitalization, public procurement and export opportunities created by the DCFTA.

According to John Braeckeveldt, the Chairman of the EBA, business sector faces challenges and such meetings will become permanent in order to strengthen European business in Georgia.

“I would say that Georgia is very lucky to have a Free Trade Agreement. I’m running a Belgium business, which is almost here for 25 years. So I know, the pre DCFTA and after the DCFTA conditions, there is an enormous difference how easier got for trading. DCFTA is a European model and it facilitates Georgia to do more trade with the EU”, John Braeckeveldt declared.

The event was organized by the European Business Association within the framework of the project “Promoting European business and economic interests in Georgia’ Supported by the European Union.
