Giorgi Khanishvili, First Deputy Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture met with representatives of the banking sector and introduced the details of the Imereti Agrozone Greenhouse Cluster Development Project.
"It is important for us to actively involve the local business sector in this large-scale project. "Imereti Agrozone" will be a place where products in line with modern standards will be produced. Activities within the agro-zone will promote large-scale employment and the development of important trade relations," said Giorgi Khanishvili.
According to Archil Bukia, Director of Imereti Agrozone Ltd, a greenhouse cluster located on the land areა of 220 ha in Tskaltubo and Baghdati municipalities, provides investment opportunities for the creation and development of various ancillary businesses.
Submission of applications for the tender of Imereti Agrozone Greenhouse Cluster Development Project initiated by the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture started on March 1 (see the electronic platform www.iaz.ge) and will last until April 30, 2021.
