We call on Russia to withdraw its forces from the Republic of Moldova and Georgia, - it was stated in the declaration of the Washington summit of NATO.
"Russia bears sole responsibility for the aggressive war against Ukraine, which is a gross violation of international law, including the UN charter. Human rights abuses, war crimes and other violations of international law by Russian forces and officials cannot go unpunished. Russia is responsible for thousands of civilian deaths and massive damage to civilian infrastructure. We strongly condemn Russia's horrific attacks on the Ukrainian people, including on hospitals, on July 8. Russia must immediately end this war and completely and unconditionally withdraw all its forces from Ukraine, in accordance with the UN General Assembly resolutions. We will never recognize the illegal annexation of the territory of Ukraine, including Crimea, by Russia. We also call on Russia to withdraw all its forces from the Republic of Moldova and Georgia, which are stationed there without their consent," the declaration reads.
Also, the heads of states and governments participating in the meeting of the North Atlantic Council will welcome the democratic reforms of Moldova and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"We are ready to support their security and defense capabilities and strengthen their capabilities against hybrid threats," the statement said.
