Gigi Sisvadze, the executive director of the association of private kindergartens "Mnati" declares, that the demand for private kindergartens has increased for the new academic year, which is determined by the current economic situation in the country.
"Despite the price growth, demand is more increased on private kindergartens compared to the public ones. Almost all the groups at private kindergartens are loaded," says Gigi Sisvadze.
According to the director of "Mnati", the value of private gardens increased as a result of the regulation adopted by the state.
"Tariffs have become more expensive, from GEL 600 to GEL 800. The state regulation provides high standards of safety and nutrition, introducing the HACCP standard and bringing buildings and structures into compliance with European standards. Accordingly, the service has improved, which is related to additional costs", - explains the head of the association of private kindergartens.
Gigi Sisvadze also talks about the challenges of private kindergartens. According to him, there is still a shortage of qualified personnel in the market, which is why the association plans to retrain personnel from next year.
