Many international companies have suspended or halted operations in Russia over the war in Ukraine, so international brands became interested in the Georgian market.

According to the representatives of the real estate agency, additional demand has arisen for commercial spaces. However, demand is many observed on co-working spaces.

As Rusudan Chakvetadze, Regional Manager of REGUS declares, the demand for their spaces has increased at least 10 folds during the last 20 days. According to Chakvetadze, they are not able to satisfy the demand due to the high workload.

She says that mostly demand is observed by the citizens of Russia and Belarus.

"Demand for co-working spaces began to grow a week before the war. Today, demand is 10 folds up. These are IT companies that have offices in Russia and Belarus. The main reason for the change of offices is sanctions. There are international companies as well as local Russian and Belarusian companies. They rent offices for employees who move to Georgia, "said the regional manager of the company REGUS.
