The company's manager Izolda Chukhrukidze said that the pandemic had significantly reduced demand for their product and for some time the company worked on single orders, but they managed to survive.
"The pandemic hindered successful business, but we did not stop and started development through the efforts of a professional team. It has been several months since we resumed production at full capacity. However, due to reduced demand amid the pandemic, its productivity is halved. Demand for this type of product has decreased by 50%, "- explained the manager of the company.
According to Sigma Metal, due to inflation, production costs increased by about 20-30%, which made the final product more expensive.
“The enterprise continues to operate despite everything, and we hope that soon the price will stabilize as demand for the product increases," the company said.
