Development company "Metropol" plans to enter international markets this year. The company's General Director, Mamuka Imedashvili, spoke about this with TV program "Business Weekly."
According to him, in the short term, they plan to open representative offices in various countries, while in the long term, they plan to enter international markets.
"In the slightly longer term, our plans include entering international markets and establishing ourselves as a developer. In the short term, we plan to open our representative offices in various countries," - said the company's General Director.
Additionally, company "Metropol" plans to implement summer residence projects in the coming months of this year. One project will be in Lisi, while the other project will be in Shindisi.
"In the near future, we will start our summer residence projects, which are Metropol Lisi and Metropol Shindisi. Regarding the projects we're planning for 2025, we have already acquired the real estate and work is in progress. We plan to cover new districts. These will be Vera, Vake, Nadzaladevi. We have several more negotiations regarding the acquisition of several assets, and I don't rule out that the number of our projects may increase more than planned," - stated the company's General Director.
Regarding the current situation in the real estate market, the company says that business must be ready for any challenge. He also adds that a person who has decided to buy real estate is waiting for the best moment. Consequently, during turbulence, the decision will be postponed, but it doesn't disappear. Therefore, Imedashvili hopes for improvement in the situation."As it is a business responsibility to be prepared for all kinds of challenges. The development sector is not different from other sectors and there is some impact in terms of sales. However, for real estate, this is temporary. When a person decides to purchase real estate, this decision was made earlier, but they are waiting for the right moment. Accordingly, during turbulence, the decision gets postponed, but it doesn't disappear anywhere. When the situation stabilizes, it is expected that demand will come all at once," - stated Imedashvili.
