Armenian Airlines, the national carrier of Armenia, has announced the launch of a historic direct air route between Yerevan and Delhi, marking the first direct air connection between Armenia and India. Regular flights are set to commence on February 21, 2024.

According to the airline, flights will operate twice a week - on Wednesdays and Fridays - using a modern Airbus 321-200 aircraft with a capacity of 220 passengers. The flight duration from Yerevan to Delhi will be 4 hours and 40 minutes, while the return trip will take 5 hours and 10 minutes.

The new route will not only establish a direct link between the two countries but also provide convenient options for transit passengers. In particular, the airline highlights that travelers from Moscow will be able to reach Delhi with an easy connection in Yerevan, using flights from Sheremetyevo International Airport.
