Starting from December 28 this year, direct flights will be launched between the capitals of Armenia and Oman. The Muscat-Yerevan-Muscat route will be operated by Omani low-cost airline SalamAir.
Flights are scheduled to be operated once a week. This will be the first direct air connection between the two capitals, potentially boosting tourism and business ties between the countries.
SalamAir is a relatively young airline based in Muscat. The company specializes in low-cost passenger transportation and also provides cargo services. SalamAir's fleet consists of more than ten Airbus aircraft, and its route network spans over 30 destinations.
