Doctors and scientists living in Georgia and abroad are spreading the appeal on the COVID-19 pandemic. The appeal is signed by 21 healthcare workers.
The statement reads that the pandemic cannot be defeated separately by the government, doctors or the population and it requires joint efforts.
“Vaccine is safe and protects us from severe forms of death and disease, which is already evident from 3.5 billion administrated shots.
All authorized vaccines reduce the severity of the disease and mortality in all variants.
Use any currently available vaccine that has received authorization from the US Food and Drug Administration, the European Medicines Agency, and the World Health Organization. However, keep in mind that you can boost your immunity with a vaccine made by the new technology after the vaccine made with the classic technology by Chinese pharmaceutical companies.
With the vaccine, we protect not only ourselves but also the people around us, especially children and people who cannot be vaccinated due to health problems.
Any information about Covid-19 vaccines that is not based on credible scientific publications is misinformation”, - the statement reads.
