Winery “Doctor’s Bio-Celler” plans to enter the Georgian market within the next few months, while continuing to focus primarily on exports, according to founder Marieta Kakiashvili-Ruadze, speaking on BMGTV’s “Women’s Narrative.”

She noted that the winery’s export prices start from $9 per bottle, and a similar pricing strategy is expected to be applied in Georgia. The company plans to supply its wines to local retail stores and the HoReCa sector, using mostly aged vintages rather than newly produced wine. Current offerings for the Georgian market are expected to include 2022–2023 vintages, as the winery typically ages its wines for 1.5–2 years before bottling.

Kakiashvili-Ruadze said the company’s export journey began in 2022 at WinExpo Georgia, where interest from an international buyer in Japan led to the first exports within weeks. Since then, the winery has expanded to Hong Kong and the United Kingdom, with wines now available in London retail stores.

She also said the company is currently negotiating entry into additional European markets, including Denmark and France, while emphasizing the need for greater support for small wineries in infrastructure and equipment development to further strengthen Georgia’s wine sector.
