Confectionery brand "DuChef" has closed two of its three branches and opened a new enterprise as part of a change in its business model.

As the company’s founder, Khatuna Bakuradze, told TV-program “Women’s Narrative,” the change is related to the company’s focus on the B2B direction.

“We kept only the first, historic branch on Shevchenko Street. The closure of two branches was necessary in order to open a larger enterprise, which would have increased productivity. The space gathered together is better controlled, which also ensures quality,” Bakuradze said.

According to him, the new enterprise is located on Vazha-Pshavela and has been operating for more than seven months. According to Khatuna Bakuradze, the space was fully equipped with her investment and currently employs about 30 people.

“We mainly work with businesses that are looking for innovation. Only such cooperation is interesting to me, because it contributes to the development of the sector and the assortment,” explained the founder of “DuChef”, adding that the enterprise is equipped with modern, high-quality equipment. In the future, it is planned to produce bread and pastries on the first floor, while the confectionery department will continue to work only along European lines.

"We refuse standard desserts - there are already many in the city. We started operating in the market along European lines and we will continue to follow this line. We have a constantly changing and also exclusive assortment for the companies we cooperate with.

With the launch of the new enterprise, "DuChef" has the opportunity to produce an innumerable number of desserts and implement large projects," Bakuradze noted.

"DuChef" has been operating in the market for three years and offers customers European, different confectionery products created according to the company's chef's recipes.
