Khatuna Bakuradze, founder of the pastry shop "Duchef" declares, that the company's sales increased by about 20%. In addition, the company notes that 40% of the customers are foreigners"."Duchef" has been operating in the market for three years and offers customers European confectionery created by the company's chef's recipes. In addition to the "Dushef" cafe, it also includes a training school.
According to the founder of the bakery, "Duchef" still has two branches. However, the company changed the address of the Vake branch and opened it on Orbeliani Square. At the beginning of the year, Bakuradze announced the opening of the third branch after a suitable location was found.
"At this stage, we are still represented by two branches, although we have changed the address. We closed Vake branch and opened it on Orbeliani Square. At this time, there are no plans to open a third branch as we are trying to find a suitable location for a third facility.
We make premium quality products. We increased sales by about 20%. Over 40% of customers are foreigners from France and various European countries. The demand is steadily growing. We have our niche and we have our stable customers", says Bakuradze.
It should be noted that "Dushef" has had its own school for 4 years, where it has been implementing a short-term program. According to Bakuradze, they are the only pastry school in Georgia that implements a short-term program and issues a state certificate.
"The cost of the program is 2500 GEL, although we gradually receive state co-financing. So, the cost of the program comes out at a very favorable price," Bakuradze says.
As for future plans, the company is actively negotiating with foreign chefs to come to Georgia and hold master classes, as well as Duchef itself plans to enter the international markets.
