With the Easter season approaching, Tbilisi-based confectionery Ganjina has begun actively selling its traditional Easter bread. Founder Sopho Chikovani told BM.GE that this year, the company focused on expanding its assortment, including the introduction of cottage cheese Easter bread alongside other varieties.

The bakery now offers four types of Easter breads: classic, Kinder, Nutella chocolate, and cottage cheese. Sizes range from 250 grams to 1 kilogram. Prices have been adjusted due to higher raw material costs, increasing by 5 GEL compared to last year. A 500-gram Easter bread, previously priced from 23 GEL, now starts at 28 GEL. The exact price for the new cottage cheese version has not yet been finalized.

In addition to sales, Ganjina will host the “Ganjina Festival” in its courtyard for Easter. The festival will feature 12 local vendors offering wine, cheese, bread, handmade accessories, and other products. Chikovani emphasized that the event aims to unite neighbors and visitors, combining Easter traditions with live music, and hopes it will become a seasonal tradition with different themes each year.

Reflecting on 2025, Chikovani highlighted significant investments in the bakery, including a new kitchen and the opening of a production facility on the second floor. These upgrades allow Ganjina to increase output and optimize production capacity. Founded in 2023, the bakery offers a wide range of confectionery products and continues to expand its seasonal offerings.
