“Sakudela” is an eco-friendly cottage complex located in the village of Nikortsminda, Ambrolauri, Racha. Designed to accommodate up to eight guests, the cottages are fully equipped with all necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. According to owner Archil Gurgenidze, who spoke on the program Real Estate Prospect, the cost of staying at “Sakudela” for per night amounts to GEL 450, with most guests being local vacationers.
Operating for three years, “Sakudela” attracts visitors who enjoy outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, and exploring the surrounding forests. Gurgenidze noted that while summer is the main tourist season, the infrastructure allows for year-round stays. “We have guides, electric bicycles, and horses available. The Shaori reservoir, rivers, and nearby caves offer guests a variety of entertainment options,” he said.
Looking ahead, the owner plans to expand the complex by adding smaller cottages for two to four people, as well as developing hiking and electric bike trails in nearby locations. The aim is to enhance the overall experience for visitors and encourage eco-tourism in the region.
In addition to accommodation, “Sakudela” also hosts music festivals during the summer. Gurgenidze shared plans to increase their scale in the coming years, turning the events into a larger attraction that draws visitors not only from Racha but from across Georgia.
