Economy Minister: Kazakhstan Strategic Partnership Builds on Long-Standing Cooperation

სს

Georgian Economy and Sustainable Development Minister Mariam Kvrivishvili said that the agreement on strategic partnership with Kazakhstan is a logical continuation of the deep and long-standing cooperation between the two countries.

The agreement was signed during an official visit of a Georgian delegation led by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze to the Republic of Kazakhstan, where both sides formally elevated bilateral relations to a strategic partnership level.

Kvrivishvili said the deal is an important step that will significantly increase trade and economic ties between the countries, particularly in terms of cargo flows.

“Based on this agreement, we are confident that exports from Georgia to Kazakhstan will increase, which will support the growth of Georgian-made products in foreign markets. At the same time, we expect tangible results in terms of increasing cargo flows, as well as development in the transport and logistics sector,” she said.

According to the minister, the strategic partnership will also have a positive and measurable impact on the growth of tourist flows from Kazakhstan, as well as increased investment opportunities.
