Ethno-house “Edi’s Dacha,” located near Dashbashi Canyon, is entering a new development phase in 2026, focusing on infrastructure expansion and full digital transformation, according to founder Edward Mkrtichian.
He told BM.GE that the property currently operates four room categories — economy, standard, luxury, and newly introduced premium luxury units built near the canyon edge. These premium rooms are suspended about one meter above ground and feature private jacuzzis with panoramic views. This year, the company plans to reinvest an additional GEL 150,000 into developing new room concepts and expanding services.
Mkrtichian said a key priority is building a unified digital ecosystem. The company is developing its own website with an integrated booking system to enable direct sales and full control over reservations. Social media channels such as TikTok and Instagram, along with data analytics and AI tools, will also be used to personalize guest experiences.
Edi’s Dacha opened in June 2024, about 100 km from Tbilisi. Its initial renovation and launch required an investment of GEL 160,000, and the property is now positioning itself as a digitally driven boutique hospitality destination.
