Georgia’s exports of non-alcoholic beverages are growing. According to Geostat, the country exported $138.9 million worth of non-alcoholic beverages in the first eight months of 2026, up by 23% year-on-year. Efes Georgia, which produces non-alcoholic beverages under the Natakhtari brand, says demand for Georgian lemonade is also increasing in international markets.

Nikoloz Khundzakishvili, the company’s Corporate Affairs Director, said Efes Georgia exported around 40 million liters of lemonade in the first eight months of the year and plans to increase the figure to 50 million liters by year-end. The company currently exports its lemonade to around 25 countries.

“Growing markets include the eastern direction, the Gulf region and China, while Central and Eastern Europe, the Baltic states and the United States remain important markets as well,” Khundzakishvili said. He added that the company is investing alongside export growth to meet rising demand, while traditional lemonade remains the main exported product.

“If we sell around 22 million liters of traditional lemonade in the Georgian market, we export approximately two and a half times more - 50 million liters - and this is constantly growing,” Khundzakishvili said, attributing the product’s export potential to Georgia’s water and the quality of its ingredients. According to TBC Capital, 474 million liters of non-alcoholic beverages were produced in Georgia in 2025, with production valued at nearly GEL 1 billion.
