During a meeting with representatives of the European Investment Bank (EIB) at the Road Department Fund on April 9, details of the investment program for the construction of the Sisian-Kajaran road section, tranche-4 North-South, were discussed.
Deputy Director of the Fund Karen Badalyan and program manager Arthur Sanoian presented technical, environmental, and social aspects of the program to the bank's delegates, as well as its estimated cost.
Opportunities for joint financing of the program by the Asian Development Bank with the participation of the EIB were also discussed.
Representatives of the European Investment Bank, accompanied by representatives of the road department, also visited the Syunik region to familiarize themselves with plans for the construction of a 60 km road.
