By the end of the month, Elselema clothing factory will be opened in Guria. According to the statement made by Elguja Mamasakhlisi to BM.ge, opening of the factory was planned for march, however, due to the decision to increase the capacity of the factory, preparation works took longer than expected. The factory will occupy two floors instead of one, consequently, instead of planned 150 people, the factory will employee more than 200. The enterprise is located in Lanchkhuti, near the City Hall building. The company invested total of 1.2 mln GEL.
“Construction works took several weeks more, because we decided to increase the capacity of the factory, for instance, we were planning to arrange a cutting room in the ground floor, which was easy, but we are also making sewing room there to increase the capacity. We have a factory in Tbilisi, which will send cut material to Guria for sewing. We retrain tailors ourselves, they have already started making test lots”, - stated Elguja Mamasakhlisi. Elselema, Ltd. already owns a clothing factory in Tbilisi (Guramishvili Avenue), to which it added a new enterprise, while refurbishing the old one.
These works will be completed before the end of the year. The factory produces men’s and women’s clothing, workwear and bullet-proof vests. Elselema’s produce is presently sold on Georgian market. The company also cooperated with brands like Cotton and Montclair.
