The State Employment Promotion Agency has announced the start of the application period for funding short-term vocational training and retraining courses. Both state and private educational institutions can submit their applications from August 11 to August 22, the Ministry of Health reports.
Deputy Minister of Health Giorgi Tsagareishvili emphasized that the program helps citizens acquire new skills and secure employment quickly. Fully funded by the state, the program’s reach expands each year.
Tsagareishvili encouraged as many training centers as possible, especially those in regional areas, to participate actively and submit applications.
Currently, the agency collaborates with around 30 private and state colleges. The courses last between one and three months and cover a wide range of fields, including computer programs, beauty, accounting, hospitality, culinary arts, engineering, home care, special needs education, and more.
In 2025, over 80 courses were fully funded, benefiting nearly 2,000 citizens nationwide, most of whom have found employment. In 2024, about 3,700 job seekers participated in similar programs.
Citizens interested in enrolling can register and select their desired field at the State Employment Agency’s service centers across the country.
