Mikheil Begiashvili, financial director of enterprise of composite parts and components ATC declares, that pandemic had a negative effect on the production, but the company continued operating uninterruptedly. As Begiashvili told Business Morning, the company could not keep the growth pace of 2019-2020.
According to him, they plan to expand production, which is reflected in additional investments in 2022-2023.
“The company started production of 230 different parts in 2019, and 150 more components are planned to be added in 2020. The company plans to launch additional projects in 2021, which will include production of composite parts using metal. The novelty is that we plan to manufacture front chassis door of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner," Begiashvili said.
However, construction of ATC started in 2015 and finished in 2018. Investment of 93 million USD was made in the project. The company employees 170 persons by now.
