Entrée opened its tenth café in Baku, located on Bakikhanov Avenue. The company told BM.GE that it has invested €300,000 in expanding the chain in Azerbaijan and has hired seven additional employees.
As of today, Entrée employs 147 people in Baku.
According to Entrée co-founder Jean Michel Charles, the network’s expansion is driven by growing demand. The Georgian artisan bakery and café brand, already operating in Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom, also plans to enter the United States market.
“We are actively expanding in Azerbaijan - demand is high, and we are doing everything we can to strengthen Entrée’s presence in this market. We are also growing in Tbilisi and London, while simultaneously exploring opportunities in New York and Boston,” said Charles.
He adds that Entrée’s concept and product range are becoming increasingly popular:
“Healthy choices are our main priority - sourdough bread, gluten-free, sugar-free, vegan, and vegetarian options are especially in demand.”
Entrée began its international expansion in 2021 with the UK market. Today, the brand operates in three countries with 30 locations: Tbilisi – 16 branches; Baku – 10 branches; London – 4 branches.
