"Georgian Driving Academy” has brilliant news for car racers, car enthusiasts and simply, anyone who wants to obtain in-depth knowledge of driving a car, a new multifunctional racetrack called “Lilo Arena” for vehicle testing and motor-racing purposes will be officially open in Lilo area in spring, 2022.

The project is highly crucial in its scale and rich content. That is why, EuroCredit has been supporting the idea of “Lilo Arena” project from the day one. And, only a few days ago, a memorandum for cooperation was officially signed between “Georgian Driving Academy” and "EuroCredit” which in future considers a long-term and even stronger support for the promotion of “Lilo arena” project.

In recent years “Eurocredit” has been actively involved in the development of motor sports in Georgia. The reason, that stipulated the decision of Microfanance company, is explained by the executive director of Euro Credit Mikhael Nonikashvili in the conversation with us: “Since many years the leading product and the major direction of the company has been auto loans and finances, accordingly, automotive industry is very close to our daily occupation and we have a very good understanding of this field. The number of people interested in motorsports is increasing daily. As evidenced by FIA Rally Star Georgia’s qualifying round, which we supported, was held in 4 parts with nearly one hundred young people participating in each round. Supporting this sport is one of the most important parts of our CSR strategy, because more amateur or professional car racers on such organized events, means less disorganized racings on the streets. We have already implemented several campaigns to promote safe driving and in 2022 we will stir to more activity in this direction. “Lilo Arena” will be a very special place, not only for car enthusiasts, but rather for anyone who simply desires spending his free family time in an interesting way.

Within the framework of memorandum, we will maximize our inclusion in each and every developing stage of “Lilo Arena” and together with “Georgian Driving Academy” we will offer a number of interesting projects to our public.

Construction work of “Lilo Arena” has been successfully conducted. After the completion of the initial work, Sandro Lomadze, the pilot of “Euro Credit” team made a test run on the racetrack with his own yellow sports car. The director of the project Mevlud Meladze, describes in details what the project includes: ““Lilo Arena” is not only a racetrack, but rather a multifunctional complex of the whole automotive theme. Anyone interested will have an opportunity to start driving from scratch, and in case of further desire, obtain the license of the highest rank racer. The whole territory will be divided into different zones, such as: Off-road zone for children, simulated city, the main racetrack, an off-road track by the river and other entertainment or resting areas. The whole infrastructure is constructed in compliance with European standards which will allow us in future to hold both domestic and international championships.

Cooperation with “Euro Credit”, in frames of the memorandum, means a lot more opportunities for both sides; in specific we will think of long-term projects, and accordingly, aim for implementing more daring and ambitious plans. We have already worked together in the past and “Lilo Arena” means more opportunities for both sides.”
