During his visit to Adjara, Israeli Ambassador to Georgia Walid Abu Haya attended the Capsule Launch Ceremony in Gonio for a major new project by Israeli developer European Village.
According to information released by the embassy, Prior to the ceremony, the Ambassador held a meeting with the company’s leadership and with the Head of the Adjara Tourism Department, during which a presentation was delivered on Israeli tourism and investments in Georgia.
"With a major investment, European Village is creating a high-class, all-inclusive resort, beginning with the foundation of the Wyndham Grand Batumi Gonio Sky Castle.
This milestone reflects Israel’s growing role in Georgia’s tourism development and advancing economic cooperation", - This is stated in the information released by the Israeli Embassy.
