As Georgia’s electric vehicle market and charging infrastructure continue to develop, the country’s largest specialized electromobility event, EV EXPO 2026, was held at Expo Georgia’s Pavilion 11. Organized by the industrial portal EVNEWS.GE, the exhibition was presented in an expanded two-day format this year, reflecting growing consumer interest and market demand. The event attracted thousands of visitors, industry professionals, and vehicle importers.
The exhibition showcased a wide range of products and services, including electric passenger vehicles, two-wheeled transport, watercraft, charging station networks, and other advanced technologies related to sustainable mobility. According to Salome Urdulashvili, Chief Manager of the EVNEWS project, the exhibition continues to grow in both scale and industry participation.
“The exhibition is being held for the second time and the scale is growing every year. In 2026, we hosted up to 15 companies and four partners, and we are pleased to see increasing interest from both visitors and businesses,” Urdulashvili said.
EV EXPO organizer Giorgi Amashukeli highlighted the exhibition’s role in promoting environmental awareness and public education. He noted that the event helps visitors better understand the economic and environmental benefits of electric transportation.
“Everything presented here is important for the ecology of the city and the country as a whole. EV EXPO plays a special role in raising awareness and educating the public. People come here and realize that it is possible to live in a much more economical and environmentally friendly way,” Amashukeli said.
A key feature of the exhibition was the dedicated test-drive zone, where visitors could experience the performance, comfort, and safety systems of electric vehicles under real driving conditions. Organizers say this practical component helps potential buyers make more informed decisions about switching to eco-friendly transportation.
