"Demand is increasing y-o-y, and we are simultaneously increasing our activity," Irishka Kobakhidze, the founder of cafe-bar "On The River" in Racha, Ambrolauri district, told BMG.
According to her, during this year's summer season, the bar is planning to organize a number of techno events. The first event is planned for the end of this month, - "we know from previous years' experience that similar events are interesting for customers", she said.
Irishka Kobakhidze notes that this year a large number of vacationers have been noticed in Racha and despite the fact that the tourist potential of Racha has not yet been utilized, along with the increase in demand, the number of tourist facilities is also increasing.
However, the founder of the bar also says that starting a business in Racha is accompanied by many challenges, first of all, this can be seen in the shortage of personnel.
"I have to look for the staff every season, which is quite difficult. There is also a labor problem and if something is damaged in the bar, we spend a lot of time repairing it, which, of course, prevents us from creating a proper service," says Irishka Kobakhidze.
The cafe-bar located near the River Ritsula started operating in the summer of 2019. It combines both entertainment and food space and hosts local and foreign tourists seasonally between July - August.
