In January-February 2022 the exports of Georgia (excluding non-declared exports) equaled USD 760.4 million, 54.5% higher year-on-year. Share of the domestic exports in total export constituted 73.1% and amounted to USD 555.8 million, 51.7% higher to the same period of 2021, - show the data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia.
According to the report, in January-February 2022 the share of the top ten trading partners by domestic exports in the total domestic exports of Georgia amounted to 80.8%. The top partners were China (USD 90.0 million), Bulgaria (USD 83.7 million) and Russia (USD 80.2 million).
In January-February 2022 copper ores and concentrates reclaimed the first place in the list of top export items, equaling USD 156.3 million, or 28.1% of total exports. The exports of ferroalloys totaled USD 100.5 million and their share in the total exports amounted to 18.1%. The exports of nitrogenous fertilizers occupied the third place standing at USD 58.2 million and constituting 10.5 percent of the total exports.
