Gross exports of goods in USD terms rose by 17.1% YoY in September 2018, while growth in the first nine months of the year stood at 25.7% YoY. Growth of exports was solid to EU (+25.4% YoY) as well as to CIS countries (+ 22.1% YoY). Exports to other countries went up by more moderate 4.6% YoY over the same period. From the products perspective export growth was primarily driven by exports of copper ores (+21.9 mln USD), ferro-alloys (+14.3 mln USD) and cigarettes (+12.5 mln USD).
