External Merchandise Trade (excluding non-declared trade) of Georgia amounted to USD 3 564.0 million in January-February 2025, 15.4% higher year-on-year, - according to the preliminary data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).
As of the document, the value of export increased by 4% reaching USD 835.4 million, while the import increased by 19.5% and amounted to USD 2 728.6 million.
The trade deficit equaled USD 1 893.3 million and its share in trade turnover constituted 53.1%
