EY appoints Tato Chantladze as the new Country Managing Partner for EY Georgia, effective 1 July 2025. This leadership transition underscores EY’s commitment to strengthening local leadership and supporting sustainable growth across the region.
Tato Chantladze joined EY in 2021 as a direct-admit Partner and has successfully led the Tax and Law practice in Georgia. With over 20 years of experience in delivering professional services, Tato brings deep expertise in business tax advisory, corporate law, banking, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
A qualified attorney in both Georgia and New York, Tato previously held senior leadership roles, including General Counsel and Deputy CEO at two major Georgian banks. His strategic vision and strong leadership have positioned him well to guide EY Georgia into its next phase of growth. As Country Managing Partner, he will focus on expanding the EY Law brand, driving growth in Consulting and Strategy and Transactions (SaT) practices, and accelerating the integration of advanced technology into EY’s service offerings.
“It is a great honor to take on the role of Country Managing Partner at EY Georgia,” said Tato Chantladze. “By focusing on exceptional client service, innovation, and the continued development of our talented team, I believe we can further contribute to Georgia’s evolving business environment. I look forward to building on EY’s strong foundation and unlocking new opportunities for our clients and communities.”
Tato succeeds Ruslan Khoroshvili, who has served as Country Managing Partner since 2012. Under Ruslan’s leadership, EY Georgia experienced significant expansion and enhanced its market presence. Ruslan will now transition to a new leadership role as Country Managing Partner for EY Uzbekistan.
