The families of the victims of the Shovi tragedy will receive one-time financial aid of GEL 20,000 each, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili announced on Friday.
“I would like to address once again the tragic incident that occurred in Shovi. This natural disaster claimed the lives of 32 of our citizens. Following our discussions on this matter, we have decided to offer one-time financial assistance to the families of the deceased. Each family will receive 20,000 GEL to help them during this difficult time,” the PM said.
