The successful family business "Ajikaia", which produces Georgian spices made of natural products, plans to enter agro markets this year. The company appeared on the market last year.

As the founder of the company, Mariam Gergedava, told BM.GE, in parallel with the increased demand, the family business significantly expanded production. "Ajikaia" officially received the status of LLC and moved to a new enterprise.

According to her, the company is conducting active negotiations with agro stores and catering establishments, which will promote the sale of products and create new opportunities.

"We buy raw materials from local farmers. We prepare from 100% natural products. The demand is so great that sometimes the courier could not deliver physically. For example, this week we produced 370 kg of Adjika, which was intended to satisfy more than 270 orders," said Gergedava.

At the moment, two new employees have been added to the company and they are planning to add new staff as well. The product is available in different sizes, however, the average price of 100 grams is 5 GEL and 50 Tetri.

"Ajikaia" offers customers 6 types of products at this time. Jams are also included in their assortment. Gergedava notes that the increase in production is still planned, and it depends on the increase in awareness and increased sales.

The founder of the company plans to add new types of products in the future, including the production of new products, in particular, pickles. Currently, the product is under development and will be launched by 2025.
