Lasha Khutsishvili, Minister of Finance held a meeting with Richard Nephew, Coordinator of the US Department of State on Global Anti-Corruption on Wednesday.
Meeting was attended by Lasha Darsalia, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia; Ekaterine Guntsadze, Deputy Minister of Finance of Georgia; Zviad Barkaia, Deputy Head of Government Administration of Georgia; Kris Fresonke, Regional Team Lead; Sarah Rupert, INL Director; Alan Purcell, U.S. DCM.
The Minister of Finance of Georgia expressed his gratitude to the visiting US official for the cooperation and support demonstrated by the United States towards Georgia in various areas. Focus was made on the recent reforms implemented in the country against corruption.
US and Georgian government officials also discussed the avenues of future cooperation.
