Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili met with EBRD Managing Director Elisabetta Falcetti, who is visiting Georgia as part of a regional tour.
Thomas Kairis, the EBRD Regional Director for the Caucasus, who assumed the position on September 1 this year, also participated in the meeting.
The meeting, held at the Ministry of Finance, was attended by Deputy Finance Minister Ekaterine Guntsadze and members of the EBRD delegation.
Lasha Khutsishvili thanked the guests for the projects supported by the EBRD in Georgia, particularly those in the private sector.
The sides reviewed current trends in Georgia’s economic development and issues related to bilateral cooperation on sovereign and private-sector projects.
