Development of premium tourism infrastructure in Georgia’s Adjara region is continuing with the construction of the first Holiday Inn Resort in Batumi. The hotel will be part of the Blue Sky Tower complex on Heroes Alley, where the Blue Sky Apart-Hotel is already operating. The resort is expected to open in 2028 with an investment exceeding $45 million.

Speaking on BMGTV’s Women’s Narrative program, Blue Sky Apart-Hotel General Manager Mamisa Varshalomidze said the hotel will operate under a franchise agreement and be managed according to international standards. He added that construction is progressing and the project is expected to begin operations by 2028.

The Blue Sky Tower project represents a GEL 200 million investment by LikeHouse. The complex includes 795 serviced apartments, while the future Holiday Inn Resort will share amenities such as a breakfast terrace, spa and wellness facilities, conference halls, and other guest services.

Varshalomidze also said Blue Sky Apart-Hotel operates under a full-system management model, allowing apartment owners to receive an equal share of seasonal rental income regardless of whether their individual unit is rented. According to him, the model has attracted strong investor interest, with most apartments already sold.
