Georgia’s fixed internet market continues to expand, with subscriber numbers and industry revenues showing year-on-year growth, according to the Communications Commission’s May report.
The total number of fixed internet users reached 1.18 million, representing a 2.3% increase compared with May 2025. Monthly revenues from fixed internet services also grew by 8% year-on-year, reaching GEL 40.5 million, up from GEL 37.4 million a year earlier.
Individuals account for the majority of subscribers, with 1.12 million users (95% of the market), while businesses represent 58,000 subscribers. However, corporate customers generate a significantly higher average revenue per user (ARPU) - GEL 191.4 compared with GEL 26.2 for individual customers.
The market remains dominated by two major operators. Magticom leads with 44.9% of subscribers and 44% of revenues, followed by Silknet with 32.9% of subscribers and 33.7% of revenues. Skytel holds 6.7% of subscribers, while New Networks Group accounts for 5.5%.
