A new fast food facility "Buffet" and a poultry farm were opened on Kakheti Highway, near the village of Khashmi. The company "Kashmi Agro Group" invested more than GEL 2 million for the launch of the business and created 30 jobs.
The founder of the company, Soso Kirmelashvili, says that the idea of launching a farm arose as a result of his experience in the field of tourism.
"I am from Khashmi, and that's why I decided to set up a farm and a food facility on this section of the highway. I have a great experience in the field of tourism. Over the years, tourists face the problem of food facilities and toilets almost everywhere in Georgia. At our farm, locals and foreign tourists traveling to Kakheti will be able to taste dishes prepared with ecologically clean products at an affordable price in a comfortable and well-equipped environment", says Kirmelashvili.
Quails, chickens, ducks, turkeys and also rabbits are kept in the farm located on 4 ha. Poultry meat and eggs from the farm are sold at roadside food outlets. Accordingly, passengers not only can take a break and eat at the "Buffet", but can also buy natural products, wine and gifts.
