Prices for food products in Kazakhstan increased by 11, 3%, for non-food products - by 5, 5% and for paid services - by 4, 2% during December 2020, as compared to the same period of the prior year.
Pursuant to the recent report of the National Statistics Bureau of Kazakhstan, over the past year prices rose for granulated sugar by 33,9%, sunflower oil – by 33,7%, cereals – by 28,7%, eggs – by 20%, potatoes – by 16,8%, flour – by 16,3%, fresh vegetables, mutton– 15,4%, fresh fruit – 14,9%, pasta – 14,7%, butter – 13,6%, horse meat – 11,9%, meat products – by 11,8%, rennet cheese – by 11,4%, tea – by 11,2%, frozen fish – by 10,1%, beef – by 10%, milk – by 9,7% , bakery and flour products – by 8,9%, pork – by 8%, fermented milk products – by 6,9%, bread – by 5,9%.Tobacco products rose in price by 14,9%, mineral and drinking water – by 10,4%, alcoholic beverages – by 7,8%.Price reductions were recorded for chicken legs by 5,7%, millet – by 2,6%, rice– by1,7%.
The increase in prices for gold jewelry was 13%, detergents and cleaning products – 10,2%, medicines – 9,9%, personal goods – 9,4%, household appliances – 8%, cars – 7,3%. notebook – 6,7%, furniture and household items – 6,6%, dishes – 6,1%, clothes and shoes – 4,8%.Coal rose in price by 3,5%, gasoline – by 2,5%, and diesel fuel fell in price by 6,6%.
The level of prices for legal services, insurance of personal vehicles increased by 10%, cinema services – by 8,1%, hairdressers and beauty salons – by 7,2%, catering – by 6,9%, healthcare – 6,3%, visiting the bathhouse – by 5,7%, ritual services – by 5,6%.Taxi fares went up by 6,8%, railway passenger transport – by 4,2%, and air fares – by 6,2%.
In the field of housing and communal services tariffs for garbage collection increased by 20,5%, electricity – by 6,5%, cold water – by 1%, hot water – by 0,7%, and central heating rates decreased by 2%, sewerage – by 1,4%.
