Former Chairman of the Constitutional Court, Merab Turava, has been appointed Deputy Minister of Justice. The relevant information was confirmed to InterpressNews by the press service of the Ministry of Justice.
Merab Turava's term as Chairman of the Constitutional Court expires on March 30, 2025.

According to the declaration, Turava owns only one 1489 sq.m. land plot, which he registered in 2020. According to the declaration, Turava does not have any other real estate or movable property. As the Chairman of the Constitutional Court, he received 138,569 GEL as a salary. As a professor at TSU, he received 13,989 GEL, and as a professor at Robakidze University, he received 36,180 GEL.
