The Prosecutor’s Office has formally charged a former Deputy Minister of Health Ilia Gudushauri with abuse of official powers. The case involves over 2.1 million GEL in state losses, but prosecutors announced they will not request imprisonment.
The decision is reportedly linked to the defendant’s cooperation with the investigation and admission of guilt, according to the Prosecutor’s Office.
