Altihut can accommodate up to 45 guests/tourists. The hut shelters travelers and mountain rescuers free of charge.
The goal of "Altihut" is to improve the sanitary conditions and general safety at the alpine height, to develop the tourist potential in hard-to-reach places and to establish the highest standard of service.
As Nikoloz Alavidze says, jointly with his partners, more than GEL 2 million has already been invested in the "Altihut" project.
The geography of "Altihut" guests is very diverse. Most of them are foreigners. We have tourists from Switzerland, Germany, Poland and other European countries; Also from America and Japan. It should be noted that our guests are a high-spending segment. For example, four official billionaires visited us this year. The family of a high-ranking official of one of the countries comes to "Altihut" every year. Totally, "Altihut" is one small component of a big value chain - I mean that before a tourist goes to "Altihut", he must first come to Georgia, he must stay at least one night in Tbilisi. Then he should go to Stepantsminda, etc.," said Nikoloz Alavidze, emphasizing that the guests of the Alpine Hotel visit primarily for the idea.
In an interview with BMGTV, the managing partner of "Altihut" also highlighted the fact that "Altihut" rescue services saved a total of 11 people's lives during this period.
