Freebusiness.ge - this is the name of a new platform created in response to the political crisis in the country.
The author of the idea is businessman Giorgi Chugoshvili.
The presentation of the Freebusiness.ge platform took place on BMGTV, during Giorgi Isakadze's program "Business Weekly.
"Businesspeople who believe that the path to de-escalating the current situation involves scheduling new elections and releasing citizens detained during pro-European protests by the New Year, can register on this platform and express their position."The current crisis has gone beyond the boundaries of party politics, posing an inevitable social and economic threat to the country. It is crucial to de-escalate the situation as swiftly as possible.
The most pragmatic way to achieve de-escalation is by scheduling new elections and releasing those arrested during recent events by the New Year.
We, as representatives of Georgian business, bearing responsibility for the country’s fate and its irreversible development, regardless of our political preferences, sign this appeal and statement."
