Ak-Air Georgia, a company that operates domestic flights in the country under an agreement with the state declares that demand is significantly increased for domestic flights.
Irina Mghebrishvili, the company's administrative manager, says that the number of domestic flights can no longer meet the demand, so discussions about increasing the frequency of flights with the unification of airports are already underway.
"Slowly the segment of foreigners is taking the dominant place in domestic flights. Demand is quite high, so more frequencies will be implemented per week. Probably at least in the next week the schedules will be updated and more flights will be added," said Irina Mghebrishvili, administrative manager of Ak-Air Georgia.
