The Georgian Competition and Consumer Agency (GCCA) has entered into a commitment agreement with “Adjara Group” LLC in order to protect consumer rights.
Under the agreement, “Adjara Group” LLC is required to amend its food menu to ensure transparency regarding the final price of goods. The revised menu must clearly state the value-added tax (VAT), as well as any additional taxes or fees, including service charges, providing consumers with comprehensive pricing information.
The GCCA has granted the trader a two-month period to implement the required changes and comply with the terms of the agreement.
