The Georgian Competition and Consumer Agency (GCCA) has signed a commitment agreement with “Roniko” LLC to protect consumer interests.
In accordance with the agreement signed between the GCCA and the trader, in order to eliminate the alleged violation of the law, the trader was instructed to:
- Revise the company’s internal policies to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Develop a consumer information form in Georgian that is clear, comprehensive, and easy to understand, and make it available at retail locations.
- Clearly and transparently display service prices and unit prices, among other requirements.
- Clearly define warranty terms and etc.
In accordance with GCCA’s decision, the trader has been granted a one-month period to fulfill these obligations.
